Is Toontown Online going to work in plublic beta? I tried it in 5308 but it doesn't install! does anyone know if MS can get it to work? Its not Disney's problem!

Toontown Online going to work in plublic beta?
It is not Microsoft's problem necessarily either, its reallyh up to the Developer to apply patches and updates when necessary, you need to contact them, I don't think Disney directly develops their game software, they probably hire third party developers from different game studios to do so. Also try running the software in compatibility mode. Right click the games executable > click Properties > Compatibility tab > click in the list box for an appropriate version of Windows the game has ran on without issue.
You can also file a report using the following links, I would wait on the public beta release within the next few weeks too to find out if compatibility with game has been resolved: For Feedback: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=55160

Is there a demo version available... I'd be willing to try that out on 5384.4.
Either way - it's not Microsoft's responsibility to ensure someone else's software work on their system.

Sorry to say this, but if you or someone you know plays that horrid game, stop them now. >_>
Anyway, back to the point.
Try running the installation file in compatibility mode for Windows XP.
